From Student to Certified Connection Training Coach

Connection Training Coaches

As an official Connection Training (CT) Coach, I am honored to be part of a global network dedicated to compassionate, science-based equine training. My journey with CT began as a student, where I embraced positive reinforcement techniques that transformed my approach to horsemanship. In 2022, I was selected to join the CT coaching program, and throughout 2023, I deepened my understanding through comprehensive training, including an enriching in-person course in Spain with Rachel Bedingfield and Hannah Weston, working with rescue horses from Rachel and Claire’s sanctuary.

Why Choose Connection Training?

Connection Training (CT) is more than just a training method—it’s a philosophy that puts the emotional and physical well-being of horses at the forefront. CT stands out for its commitment to positive reinforcement techniques, which foster trust, communication, and mutual respect between horse and handler.

The CT platform offers a wealth of resources for anyone looking to build a stronger bond with their equine. Whether you’re just starting or looking to deepen your understanding, the comprehensive library of videos, articles, and step-by-step courses is designed to support you at every stage of your journey. These materials focus on practical, science-backed methods that make learning effective, accessible, and enjoyable for both horses and humans.

CT also emphasizes the importance of emotional balance, helping equines feel calm, confident, and motivated during training. This approach not only makes training sessions more rewarding but also creates a foundation for long-term success and partnership.

My Role as a CT Coach

As a certified Connection Training Coach, my role is to guide you in applying CT’s compassionate methods to help you and your equine thrive. I provide personalized coaching tailored to the unique needs and goals of each horse-human partnership. My aim is to equip you with the skills and confidence to create a rewarding training journey.

I also play an active role in the CT community, leading group study courses and delivering webinars as part of the CT membership platform. These sessions dive into key aspects of training, including emotional regulation, foundation behaviors, and building trust. They are designed to provide practical, actionable insights to help you achieve your training goals.
